A local customer has asked us to sell this gun for him. This gun has been in the family since the depression years and belonged to the grandfather of the man who brought it in. He is moving his family and they no longer feel they can keep the gun. There is only traces of case hardening on the frame and it is only under the barrel lever that strong case hardening remains. The 28 inch barrels retain 20% to 80 % bluing. There is virtually no finish on the trigger guard, or on the forearm metal.

The varnish is at best spotty of the fore end and the buttstock varies from 10 % to 80 % finish remaining. There are no cracks in the wood anywhere. A very old rubber buttpad was installed many years ago and has become hard and cracked. Length of pull from the back trigger to the buttstock is 13 1/2 inches. I cannot determine if the buttstock was ever cut.

The bore is very bright with just a slight partial ring of the left bore about 4 inches back of the muzzle. The first several inches of the muzzle needs a light polishing on both barrels. Both chambers show some light pitting probably from storing paper hulled ammunition in the chamber. There is some overall very light pitting on the barrels and frame and there is evidence of a light polishing years ago on some rust and a light cold blue application cover up to some pits.

The nice thing I like about this gun is that it has never been taken apart that I can determine. There are no secrets hidden below the surface. No family members recall it ever being disassembled or repaired. It was used as a sporting gun and was kept well oiled down between hunting trips. The pictures I took are exactly as the gun was brought in to me. I have not cleaned it nor touched up any photographs.

Mechanically it is a dream and is a good representative to the Parker excellence. There is absolutely no play in the barrel to frame fit. Metal to wood fit is also excellent. The engraving is absolutely the best in the Parker tradition.

Custom Scout Mount Argentine Mauser

click on image to enlarge Our customer wanted a scout mount for his mauser. We fabricated this mount to replace the rear iron sight using only the existing holes. The rear iron sight can be replaced and there will not be any trace of the custom mount.

Winchester 1886 Restoration

This project started in April of 2004. A customer from back east gave the gun to us to restore for him. The gun had been in a house fire and all the wood was ruined. All metal finish was lost and considerable pitting is to be found on all metal. Please keep tuned in for updates on this project.

Barrel Porting

We are pleased to offer our barrel and choke tube porting. Our type of porting is unique to us and the efficiency exceeds any other companies porting we have ever tested. Our design was perfected only after extensive testing. In the process we found there was no tooling to be purchased which met our needs. We had to custom manufacture all our own tooling. We made our own machine to do the porting with and we believe it is unique in the gun industry.

12 Row Porting For Fluted Barrels

Intended for 6 flute barrels. The example shown is an Adams & Bennett factory ported 10/22 barrel. This particular barrel is a matte flute and polished barrel. Our porting really stands out nicely with the factory polishing. Angle porting is optional on the 12 row porting. 22 LR caliber barrels have 24 ports and centerfire barrels have 36 flutes.

           2.30 and 2.60 cartridge lenght respectively. These single shot rifles are ideal candidates for relining.
